For the MedSprint 2024 competition, my team was challenged to create an innovative solution to help a real stroke survivor. Using Solidworks, DFM/DFA principles, and accessible design principles, we created a novel mobility and resistance training aid to allow for at-home physiotherapy. Personally I was responsible for designing the main base, arm, hinge, and some of the custom grips for our device. Together, our team won the competition, beating 18 other teams of engineering students.
